Katherine Heigl in "Side Effects"
The Capital Times: "'It was all pretty exciting,' Slattery-Moschkau was saying over the weekend. Her life is still exciting, maybe more so these days. But much else in her life has changed.
Today Slattery-Moschkau is working 18-hour days against a Sept. 21 deadline to wrap the independent feature film, 'Side Effects,' that she began writing three years ago and directed during a two-week shoot in Madison in July. It stars Katherine Heigl (perhaps best known for the TV series 'Roswell') and is based on Slattery-Moschkau's decade in the pharmaceutical industry.
There are comic moments but the engine driving the story is the lead character's growing realization that the prescription drug industry is not altogether scrupulous."
